Facelift

Dear Dr. Matini,

It is now one year since you did my face lift and I want to extend a sincere thank you for, not only doing a great surgical job but also, in some small yet substantive way, changing my life.

I used to be self-conscious about the “dips of nature” on my face. I felt like a sagging 50-year-old. Now, I never think of that. I feel more confident in some way and I thank you for that.

Yesterday I visited the place I worked for years. I saw several people that I had not seen in over a year. 4 people said (separately) that I looked “great, younger, what did you do?” I felt great and asked them if they thought it could be my shorter haircut!

Skin Lesion Removal

I saw you in the mid-1990's for removal of a large mole on my stomach, which healed with absolutely no scar. Since then I have recommended you to everyone with whom I have ever discussed plastic or cosmetic surgery – and as a woman in my 30's, I have these discussions with people frequently!

One of those is my sister, who finally saw you about two weeks ago after several years of my urging. You removed a prominent and very ugly flesh-colored bump from the skin between her upper lip and her nose. One week later, the two stitches were removed and there is no scar. She is positively ecstatic!
