Surgery of the Eyelid

Known technically as blepharoplasty, eyelid surgery removes the folds and pouches, or bags. It can also help those who have impaired peripheral vision due to the sagging and hooding of skin over the eyes. Extra skin and underlying fat are removed to attain a more youthful, rested appearance. The lower blepharoplasty can be done in lieu of the subperiesteal mid-facelift.
